Dr. Maged Ismail Mohamed Ismail was Born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1970, He has extensive experience in the field of space technology. Throughout his career, he has held several key leadership and supervisory positions, contributing significantly to institutional development and the enhancement of national capabilities in space technology centers. Career Positions and Leadership Roles: - Head of AIT Sector at Space Technology Center 2014 -2021 - Deputy Director at Space Technology Center 2021-2022 - Director of Space Technology Center 2022-2024 - Head of the Space Technology Transfer Program Management Committee 2024 - Former Member of the Board of Directors, Egyptian Space Agency 2022 -2024 Currently, He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Space Agency. Dr. Maged holds both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He has extensive experience in leading and managing strategic programs and projects in the fields of space technology and satellite systems. Since 2008, he has played an active role in the National Space Technology Transfer Program. He has contributed to the training and qualification of technical and engineering personnel in disciplines related to space and satellite technology, supporting the development of national expertise in this field.
