Emmanuel Pajot is the Secretary General of the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC). A geologist by training, he specializes in remote sensing and brings over 20 years of experience in business, research projects and policy. He joined EARSC in 2017, where he focuses on supporting SMEs in developing innovative services and fostering engagement with institutions, international organisations, business partners and user communities. He earned a PhD for his work on utilizing radar data to quantify geological features and has led ground or infrastructure radar interferometric monitoring and Land Use/Land Cover mapping with high-resolution optical data to prepare or monitor field operations. From 2003 to 2010, M. Pajot worked as a consultant for the energy sector in a large international company. Between 2011 and 2017, he created an Earth Observation team, contributing to business development for international companies in Europe and the United States, liaising with Ministries, and developing innovative solutions for monitoring exploration and operational activities.
