Dr. Munzer Jahjah is an expert in Aerospace Engineering, currently serving as a Program Manager at the Italian Space Agency (ASI). With over two decades of experience spanning academia and government, Dr. Munzer Jahjah is particularly recognized for his role as Head of the Luigi Broglio Malindi Space Centre in Kenya, a cornerstone of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Italy and Kenya. Throughout his tenure at ASI, Dr. Munzer Jahjah has successfully managed high-level international contracts and missions in collaboration with ESA, NASA, CNES, and SpaceX, overseeing critical operations in satellite LEOP, TT&C, and Earth observation. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, where his early career in research and algorithm development laid the technical foundation for his current experience in international space exploration and ground segment operations.
