Engineer Abdulrezak Oumer is a distinguished leader and academic deeply committed to the advancement of science and technology in Ethiopia. He holds a BSc in Physics from Asmara University (1988), an MSc in Communication Engineering from Addis Ababa University (2004), and an LLM in Intellectual Property from the University of Turin (2011). His career encompasses significant tenures at the Ethiopian Defense Industry, Adama Technical College (as a lecturer), the Intellectual Property Office, the Radiation Protection Authority, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Office of the Prime Minister, where he served in key directorial and advisory roles contributing to national development initiatives. Currently, Engineer Abdulrezak serves as Deputy Director General at the Space Science and Geospatial Institute, where he continues to champion innovation in space science and geospatial technology.
