Bruno Parenti was appointed Head of Africa Sales, Airbus Defence and Space in September 2025. In this manager role, he is responsible for satellites and military aircraft sales for Airbus Defence and Space in Africa. Mr Parenti began his professional career in 1993 as a software designer engineer in Alcatel CIT in Paris. In 1997, he joined Alcatel ANSM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the Mobile Network (GSM) Sales organisation. In 2000, Mr Parenti moved to Alcatel Space in Toulouse, France, as Regional Manager Sales for Latin America, and in 2006, he was promoted Vice President Sales for Latin America, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for Thales Alenia Space (Alcatel Space branch was sold to Thales in 2008). In 2011, he joined Airbus Group as an Executive Manager in São Paulo, Brazil, covering both Brazil and Colombia. He was then appointed Business Development Director of the Northern part of Latin America (NOLA) in 2015. In this role, he was responsible for all Airbus Defence & Space commercial activities coordination and customer relations in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Guyana. In March 2021, he was appointed Head of Governmental Sales, Space Systems. In this manager role, he was responsible for the governmental Telecommunication and Observation satellites sales for Space Systems in the world (except for the US and China). Mr Parenti is fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese and English. Bruno Parenti was born in 1966 in Toulouse, France. Mr Parenti holds an Engineering Degree from the Ecole Centrale in Marseille, complemented by a Master's Degree at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunication (ENST). He also completed courses in Business and Finance, mainly at INSEAD, France.
