Dr. Sunghee Lee is a distinguished leader in the field of space electronics and information engineering. He earned his PhD in engineering and has built a robust career that spans academia, research, and industry. Dr. Lee’s experience includes positions at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and Carleton University, as well as earlier roles at Dongwon Group and Dongwon Systems. In his entrepreneurial journey, he founded CONTEC Co., Ltd. and currently serves as its CEO since January 2015, while also taking on the role of CEO at APSI Inc. as of July 2024. His visionary leadership is underscored by major milestones, including raising $58 million in funding, an upcoming IPO planned for 2023, the development of a global ground station service with 12 sites, and strategic partnerships with international space firms such as SpaceX, AWS, and KSAT.
