Dr. Yaya Sylla is the Chairman and CEO of SaH Analytics International, a pioneering company in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and satellite imaging in Africa, which he founded in 2019. His vision is to position Africa as a global leader in cutting-edge technologies, particularly in AI and space. Dr. Sylla has a strong academic background, having studied at INPHB, the University of Technology of Compiègne, and ENSEA, and worked with major firms like Capgemini and Teradata, where he helped lead digital transformation projects for major corporate partners. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish SaH Analytics, and under his leadership, the company has grown from a small startup to a regional powerhouse with over 70 employees and branches in France, Senegal, and Benin. SaH Analytics, under Dr. Sylla’s leadership, has been instrumental in advancing AI and satellite technologies for governments across Africa. The company has worked on transformative projects such as digital tracking solutions for Covid-19 in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the establishment of the Ci-Cert with ARTCI to strengthen cybersecurity in Côte d'Ivoire, and the development of analytical tools for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to address high living costs. SaH Analytics has also contributed to the digitalization of the government’s social initiatives and enhanced anti-money laundering efforts with the Ministry of Budget and Finance. Additionally, the company has made significant strides in the tourism sector by creating a comprehensive tourism database in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. Dr. Sylla’s leadership has also led SaH Analytics to become a member of MEDEF, expanding its international reach. Furthermore, he is committed to nurturing the next generation of innovators in Africa, partnering with educational institutions like ENSEA to provide opportunities for young Ivorian talents and actively participating in academic projects on AI and high-performance computing.
