He holds multiple academic qualifications, including an M.Sc. in Electronics and Information Technology from the University of Dar es Salaam, an M.Sc. in Facilities Management from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK, a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and an FTC in Electrical Engineering. He remains deeply committed to continuous learning and advancement in technology, telecommunications, and computer science. Florent has held several strategic roles in network planning, technical management, and telecommunications policy development, contributing significantly to market competitiveness and sectoral investment. His professional journey includes senior management positions at the Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL) and academic roles at the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Director of Communication Investment, where he also coordinates Tanzania’s National Space Program—overseeing efforts to establish a robust national framework for space activities.
