Juan Andres Caro serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International and Space Affairs at NOAA, overseeing all international engagements including space commerce, scientific cooperation, and ocean policy. He ensures that NOAA's international partnerships align with the national economic and security priorities of the Trump Administration. Prior to joining NOAA, Juan worked as a White House Policy Advisor for natural resources. Juan holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability from Colorado State University and a Graduate Certificate in International Security from the Harvard Extension School.
