Mr. Paluszek founded Princeton Satellite Systems in 1992. He is designing the Starfire fusion reactor for Mars exploration, a rocket for Mars sample return, and a two-stage horizontal takeoff launch vehicle using a hydrogen ramjet. He was PI on the ARPA-E OPEN grant for a compact nuclear fusion reactor, the ARPA-E GAMOW project to develop power electronics, and a grant to develop a closed-loop heat engine. Prior to PSS, he worked at GE Astro Space, where he led the design of the GPS IIR, Inmarsat 3, and GGS control systems. Before GE, he worked at the Draper Laboratory and MIT.
