Mustapha consults for clients in both African and international markets, offering business insights and advice on navigating the African space ecosystem. His expertise includes sector and market entry strategies, economic and cost-benefit analyses, and preparing investment business cases for various stakeholders. Mustapha has authored analyses on different segments of the African space industry and contributed to several studies to develop the African space ecosystem, including industry evaluations and budgetary allocations. He was a key researcher in developing the African Union Commission's “Baseline Study on the Four Space Segments and the Socioeconomic Benefits for the Establishment and Operationalisation of the African Space Agency.” This study laid the groundwork for the AU’s space programme and directly led to the inauguration of the African Space Agency in January 2023.
