Nizar Tabia is an engineer specialising in geomatics and various techniques in the use of spatial data and in the development of the sector of outer space. He participates actively to set up the geographic information strategy as Project manager of The National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NDSI) at the national level allowing to put at the reach of public and private sector the basis of Geographic Information. Indeed, the NDSI is going on and allow to make available a basis infrastructure to be used from all users and manager on the territories for best use and protection of natural resources in the context of Sustainable Development Objectives. Mr Tabia supervised works to support private sector in the process to launch the first Tunisian CubeSat “Challenge One” in the same sense the national project “FACT” concerning the construction of a cube sat with research and education with public institutions. In the other level, he is a member of the working group “United Nations Integrated Geospatial Information Framework (UN-IGIF)” _ Global Geospatial Information Management – in Arab States (UN-GGIM- AS). As a member at the Staff Officer Observer - United Nation Operation in Côte Ivoire, he has had the opportunity to work for peace keeping operation for the use of spatial and geographic information.
