Mr Prosper Zo’o Minto’o is the newly appointed Director General of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA), set to assume office on January 1, 2025. With nearly 39 years of experience in civil aviation, he has played a pivotal role in advancing aviation standards across Africa. Prior to this role, he served as Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Regional Office for West and Central Africa, where he was instrumental in strengthening collaboration between ICAO, African States, and regional aviation institutions. Mr. Zo’o Minto’o is a seasoned civil aviation engineer, trained at the Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC) in Toulouse. He also holds degrees in applied electronics engineering from the Ecole Nationale des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Toulouse and the Institut National Supérieur des Ingénieurs in Libreville. His leadership continues to shape the future of air navigation and aviation safety across the African continent.
