Since January 2017, Vitaly Safonov has been serving as Deputy Director General at Glavkosmos, a subsidiary of the State Space Corporation Roscosmos, responsible for promoting the achievements of the Russian space industry on the world market and managing complex international projects. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, he served as Deputy Head of Office at the Roscosmos State Space Corporation. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Safonov held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, both in Russia and abroad. Mr. Safonov graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 2008 with a Master's degree in Management.
