Masaya OCHIAI is General Manager of the Office of the CEO at ArkEdge Space Inc., where he supports overall business strategy and international expansion under the leadership of CEO Takayoshi Fukuyo. He has over 30 years of experience at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), one of Japan’s leading megabanks, with a focus on global financial markets and international business, including extensive experience across the EMEA region. He later led investment advisory initiatives supporting Japanese companies expanding into EMEA and fostering partnerships with local stakeholders, and subsequently contributed to the establishment of a manufacturing facility in Hungary at a major Japanese industrial company. Since joining ArkEdge Space in February 2025, he has been driving the company’s global business development, contributing to its growth into a leading player in microsatellite design, manufacturing, and applications.
