Dr. Ayman Ahmed holds the position of senior director at the Egyptian Space Agency, overseeing space projects and mission system engineering. Ayman has a Ph.D. in space engineering and an MBA in Global management. Specialised in advanced imaging systems and machine learning applications. He founded the Annual African training program in Egypt and coordinated international projects, such as ClimCam (in collaboration with Kenya and Uganda under UNOOSA - Airbus Bartolomeo's "Access to Space for All" initiative) and LunaHcam (a hyperspectral lunar camera developed with Bahrain for integration into the ChangE-7 Chinese mission). Previously, he served as a member of the African Space Working Group responsible for developing African Space Policy and Strategy under the African Union from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, contribute as a member of the Industrial Advisory Board at Coventry University. Ayman`s contributions include a patent aimed at enhancing the performance of electronic systems in space environments, as well as more than fifty research papers published in international conferences and journals focused on space technology, satellites, and artificial intelligence.
