Monica Ebele Idinoba, PhD (Geography), is an experienced researcher and practitioner specialising in climate change and adaptation, programme management, science, technology and innovation, and international development. Her multidisciplinary work spans applied research, policy engagement, and the design and management of development programmes that strengthen resilience. Monica has held senior roles at leading international organisations, including the African Union Commission, the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), AfricaRice, and the Centre for International Forestry Research, where she guided research-to-policy uptake. Now working as an independent consultant, Monica advises governments, development agencies, research institutions and NGOs on climate adaptation strategies, programme design and management, and the strengthening of science, technology and innovation systems.
