Masashi Yamamoto
Masashi Yamamoto is a Director at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), currently serving in the Office for STI and DX within the Governance and Peacebuilding Department. Throughout his career at JICA, Mr. Yamamoto has built extensive experience in international development cooperation across multiple sectors and regions. He has served in infrastructure- related roles at JICA’s overseas offices, including the Philippines and Ghana, where he worked closely with partner governments and development stakeholders to support the planning and implementation of development projects. In addition, Mr. Yamamoto has accumulated substantial expertise in the energy and mining sectors through his service in JICA’s Energy and Mining Group. His work in this area has contributed to strengthening energy systems and supporting sustainable economic development in partner countries.
