Heads of African Space Agencies – Cohort 1

This high-level segment convenes heads of African national space agencies and space programme authorities for a focused discussion on the strategic direction of their respective programmes and the evolving role of space in national economic development. Rather than retrospective overviews, this session is designed to surface forward-looking insights. Agency heads will outline near-term priorities, upcoming missions, infrastructure investments, regulatory developments, and partnership frameworks that will shape their programmes over the next three to five years. Beyond technical updates, the discussion will examine how national space agencies are catalysing domestic commercial ecosystems through public procurement and private-sector participation in the governance of each national programme
